My son in law was (4 yr old grandson with him) woken by three male intruders 06.00 yesterday on canal boat in London who made off with two bicycles, phones, laptops + etc.
Left behind grandson's Lego which they were in middle of packing up
Bastards.
No sign of SOCO yet.

How some lowlifes plan to steal a bike with a child seat and break into a place obviously lived on by a young family and ending up trying to steal children's toys makes me despair.

The material things can be replaced but your son in law will have lost his feeling of being safe. Luckily your grandson is so young and hopefully not so traumatised, time heals but it will take a while.
Years ago my daughter had a couple of burglaries within months of each other and ended up moving back home as she no longer felt safe.
