Marek thanks for the tip on that as I had a look and found it interesting. But it was some kind of weird or odd coverage. They editorially couldnt make up their mind whether to give Dover a good kicking or not. The kept on showing the grisly dilapidation while telling us its good points. Slightly bizarre. They did show the good points about the area too, well they would have to for balance, but each time they did they tainted it immediately after with a shot of the closed abandoned pubs, the deserted shops, and the unrepaired buildings which have remained unrepaired since I moved here.

I think they wanted to give us a bit of a kicking but lost their editorial nerve and got a couple of talking heads to say something positive about the place. Interestingly both people talking were from outside of Dover itself...from St Margarets. The few locals from inner dover who were allowed soundbites all said it was ...well basically crap. Its odd when you see your own citizens saying it. Bit wounding...but there you are!
