Over the past few days the news is spreading that the American Intelligence have informed the US Administration that the August 2013 chemical attack in Syria was not carried out by the Syrian military, but Al Qaeda.
The gas used there apparently corresponds to non-military grade sarin, of the type confiscated by Turkish special forces in Turkey in May 2013, who had come across 2 kg of sarin in possession of Al-Qaeda-affiliated Al Nusra terrorists.
It further transpires that the so-called "evidence" mentioned by US Secretary of State Kerry referring to intercepted phone calls of panic-stricken Syrian officers just after the chemical attack indeed confirm the chemicals were NOT launched by any Syrian military unit or by order of any Syrian official.
The intercepted phone calls apparently reveal that the Syrian army carried out a thorough investigation over the following days into whether their units responsible for controlling the chemical stockpiles had in any way used the weapons of their own accord, and that all chemical weapons were accounted for as intact.
A leaked US military document now confirms that Al Qaeda had produced chemical weapons in Iraq and transported them to Al Nusra in Syria prior to the August '13 attack, with the intention of using them to frame the Syrian government and unleash a Western military attack on Syria.
A few days ago, the Turkish government has also officially branded Al Nusra a threat to Turkey!
