Hi Vic! I suspect it may have been a different club that brought on my lost-specs syndrome ... I've lost them for more years than I dare remember, and think it probably dates from baby-induced addled-brain syndrome. Fortunately, this does have the corollary that while my daughters were all growing up, I had plenty of helpers to find my specs too!
Since my daughters have left home it's become more difficult. It's one of the sad truisms that if you lose your specs you then need them to be able to find them again!
I'm also ace at losing my mobile 'phone, but that I never turn off so it isn't quite so bad to find - I just ring it. (On that subject, it's quite surprising how many missed calls I have in my call register list - I often wonder why people don't leave messages when they ring - ...
