Yes it's the huts at Astor, roundabout 1957.

i was told this afternoon that it was astor in the mid 1950's.
assume the photo was taken in the woodwork shop.

Hello, I realise this thread is a few years old now. My dad went to Astor in the 1950s and I'm looking to make contact with anyone who knew him or his younger brother Raymond Summerson. My dad was called Alfred but went by his middle name Norman. I lost my dad this year and am looking to collect stories and memries about Dover during the 40s and 50s.

Yes, nice bloke, we had him for the first two years. After that it was Mr Gausden, known as "Old Gauswire" . That's him in the picture, he didn't like me for some reason.
