People work all different hours in the week, supermarkets are open 24 hours a day, so why on earth do so many people like to go and do their shopping on a beautiful very warm sunny day like today? I had to go to tesco for a couple of items lunchtime, a very, very rare visit on a Sunday for me because they were essentials we needed. Shoppers up and down the aisles, queue`s at the check out. Is it a social thing to do all this on any Sunday, a day out to the local supermarket?

Colin Ive made that mistake myself a couple of times. Last year I thought to myself..well I will nip in to Tesco as everybody will be off either on the beach or out in the countryside having picnics..But not a bit of it. I got completely jammed in. Couldnt get out once I went in..vast queues, Bummer! it is indeed a strange phenomenon. The better the weather the more the supermarket packs em in.

The more idiots are in the supermarket the fewer there are out here.
Yesterday I cycled the Miners' Way Cycle Trail. Map downloadable here:-

Not too hilly. Beautiful countryside. Highly recommended.

That goes for the filling station as well Paul. I always fill up with diesel in the evening, or early morning, but again, many like to queue at peak times. One reason that I`ve never regretted working at all hours of the night, roads are much more quiet, and never in a queue to get to work.

Bob, I got my bike back the other day from my niece, and hope to be doing much cycling when I finish up. Many country lanes around Whitfield and beyond, (at the time of writing).
