12:4641277Major disaster exercise? Doesn't operation stack fulfil that requirement on a regular basis?

23:5341331That's only the start of disruptions happening over the next few weeks. There are signs up and down the A20 now showing overnight road closures on different dates in March for different sections. Seems to cover the entire length from the Round Hill Tunnels right down to Aychliffe.
I suppose this is KCC spending the last of their 09/10 budget!

23:5541334I think the A20 and M20 are DoT not KCC as major roads.

00:0041336You're probably right Barry. I can never get my head around who is actually responsible for what. Either way it seems someone has some money to spend before the next financial year.

12:2641351Let's not forget the resurfacing of the A2 from top to bottom as well. I saw notices up the top of the hill announcing the busiest roadf in Dover is to be resurfaced too. All long overdue but obviously someone couldn't plan their way of a paper bag if they are all happening at around the same time.
