  I hope you can all find the time to look in at www.philpacker.com. As this hero is still running the London marathon at the rate of 2 miles per day to raise £1 000 000 for help for heroes, he was blown up in Feb 2008 and would never walk again but he has progressed to be able to do 2 miles a day. If you cant afford to donate please check out the website, hold the mouse over the day and you will be able to read his report about the day.He is an inspiration to us all.

  Yes I put that on my marathon thread! He's doing so well, I am absolutely amazed by his determination, it's a very long way without crutches, never mind with them!

  All the more amazing when you consider he was diagnosed wheelchair bound for life. I am hoping with others to go up Saturday to give support to him.

  I saw that too Guzzler, an inspiration indeed - the guts and determination he has should spill over to the general public.

  Today the Major achieved something very few of us would even contemplate. He has climbed a 3,000ft mountain in California all to raise money for other injured servicemen and women. A true hero.
