    What a great pity this is, we had such high hopes once for the expansion of Manston Airport and what a great asset this would have been to South East Kent.

    I remember just a few years back at precisely 11pm we would hear the roar of a freight plane fly over our house. It will be a great pity to hear just freight planes again with no prospect at all of Domestic flights from Manston. I for one will be sorry if BA move all their freight planes to Manston, we will have all that noise but none of the fun not to mention convenience of flying from Manston I guess Stanstead/BA will be happy though.
