    So, please forgive my ignorance in these matters, once the commercial property / properties have been bought, who pays for the plans , architects etc to re design them? Who makes decisions on costs? Who lets the properties or manages them? And who pays for that? Who decides on suitable tenants ( single or young working couple, on benefits etc)? Surely costs will mount. I seem to remember a figure of £350,000 being mentioned, with the best will in the world that sum won't cover all that. Lastly , who gets the rent and pays accountants and possible tax on the income ?
