Good, very good. A very fitting monument indeed.
This is much more in keeping with the maritime nature of Dover than the miner statue. Hopefully it will help assuage the loss of the miner to those who opposed the move.

Excellent and I totally concur with Phil, far more fitting on that spot.
The words on the plinth are very moving and the statistics thought provoking.
