Use the BCC function (stands for blind carbon copy) for all recipients.

But be warned sometimes virus protection picks up multiple bcc's as spam

Andy is right that you need to use BCC for blind emails, Jeane is also right that bulk emails, whether blind or not, will be picked up as spam - I don't think (not in the case with AOL - my ISP) it's to do with virus protection so much as protocol.
AOL allow me to send any number of bulk emails without being classed as spam because now I am on their "exceptions" list - their "white" list (as opposed to a black-list).
If I wasn't given permission, I believe you can send up to around 30 emails, but I'm not sure of the exact figure before they fall into spam.
Most ISPs when your writing an email, have the option of CC or BCC (Carbon Copy or Blind Carbon Copy).
With AOL it's different; when you send a copy email and you put the email address in the "copy" box on the right, you have to have an open bracket "(" then the email address, followed by a closed ")" bracket - as in (lindenrog@aol.com) for it to go blind.
You can do this for individual emails, or bulk ones, so long as the first and last have these brackets around them.
I must stress this is for AOl only, but probably every ISP has this "exceptions" or "white" list.
