  Well done for posting this, I should have done it sooner, so again thanks.
  
  Colin Varrall and others are organising this year's exhibition again and we are also in the process of opening a mining heritage centre at Elvington and Eythorne. Hopefully it will be open to the public in time for Tilmanstone Collieries Centenary Year of Coaling in March 2013.

  gping to be another busy weekend, we have the photography walk on saturday. the heritage event on sunday and the western heights open both days.

  I have other plans which is a shame, I still have family living in Elvington. The place is a shadow of what it was when the pit was open.
