    lol! Sid I am assuming that was a joke of sorts. There's no accounting for the questions the great unwashed British public will put to a representative of parliament.

    The problem or the pitfalls or even the blessing of any kind leadership though is in the timing isnt it. You can be pretty good but if your timing is off you wont win. But politics being the way it is means that one day the people will become so disenchanted with those in power that they will turn in desperation to the opposition. So in other words the government of the day loses. The opposition wins but by default, but its really the government losing. So bearing this in mind David Cameron could be well placed timingwise. He may not be weighty, he may not have gravitas, he may be a toff with little knowledge of how most of us live, but he may be in the right place at the right time.

    Sadly the Brown bounce of a few weeks ago has gone flat again and the polls are not looking good for Labour. Would be very difficult for a government to come through such horrendous times of business failure and job loss and still win next time around. Although as they say...a week is a long time in politics and maybe just maybe we will see another resurrection of Lazarus proportions.
