  I'm working on all of those.
  
  KCC have agreed that a 3 monthly schedule can be set up to clean the chewing gum from the pavements.
  
  I have compiled a list (including photographic evidence) of the worst buildings in Dover Town and will shortly be submitting it to the Portfolio Holder responsible for planning (it's a planning issue ).
  I am also meeting with the Mayor tomorrow (Tuesday) to discuss the best way ahead and as Phil has already stated, LRCF are also on the case.
  
  I'm not an events Manager, but would encourage musicians/buskers etc. to perform along Cannot Street and Biggin Street and there are usually quite a few events in Pencester during the summer months.
  I am actively working on bringing a proper market to Dover - in the Market Square, Cannon Street and Biggin Street (depending on how many stall-holders I can get).
  
  I must admit that signage from Charlton Centre/Green into Town hadn't crossed my mind, partly because I class The Charlton Centre as part of the Town and I doubt if there are many "strangers" who go to the Charlton Centre and not know about Market Square - but of course there may be now.
  
  Signage showing what businesses are at the other end would cost quite a bit and I doubt if the businesses could afford a contribution.
  
  I'm also working on an updated Discover Dover leaflet to try and bring the French in Nord Pas de Calais, to Dover.
  
  There's a whole range of things I'm working on, because there's a whole range of things that need doing.
