I never had a lot of time for William Hague, but he was on the radio this morning talking a lot of sense over this about all MPs not just other Parties.
For one he stated that it was no good MP's sitting back saying that they had done nothing wrong they were within the guide lines. That he said was part of the reason the public were so up tight over the whole expenses problem. He carried on by saying it is the principle and morals of it all and they could not just duck down and say they worked within the rules.
Never thought I would praise a Conservative like Mr. Hague but he spoke well this morning and I hope he states the same within the walls of Parliament.
