  Due to a very congested schedule this coming week I am unable to be at the Mayor Making ceremony at the Town Hall. I usually go to this notable event and get a picture or two of the new Mayor and Deputy Mayor in full regal robes. Its an occasion I enjoy but sadly I have to miss this one. If any of you doverforum members or readers are there can you get me a picture and maybe a few words...would help me out greatly.
  
  Mayor will be Diane Smallwood
  and Deputy will be
  Sue...oh my gawd I forget her surname for the moment. Jeez Im losing it!

  Barry if you see me make a fuss of my American Friends and take a Photo,they are from Huber Heights and they are linked in friendship with Dover,this is there 7th visit to Dover and they love it,but they have noticed the decline in the shops,spent a lovely afternoon having Sunday Lunch at Sea Breezes and then round to the Roman Quay!

  Thanks guys..yes would be happy to get a few pictures of the new Mayor and Deputy from any source at all at all, and JHG with american friends would be interesting too.
  
  After the ceremony itself the robed bigwigs are usually happy to pose when they adjourn for a glass of the vintage.

  trouble is much of the mayoral bling gets pawned the day after.
