Been keeping an eye on this one too Vic, but to be honest, although they've set a new 5th set record, "boom boom" tennis just doesn't do it for me.

apparently it was likened to watching paint dry, just a succession of aces.
anyway on the positive side, altogether now "come on tim".

I find grass court tennis far more exciting than any other; I'd rather watch serve & volley than the endless baseline rallies you get on other surfaces. I must say that this is a remarkable match - it's been going 10 hours! One has to admire the endurance and tenacity of the two players.......would that they were British!

Yesterday the winner of this record breaking marathon was knocked out in three straight sets. How fleeting is the glory.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Or rather, how knackering was the original game?

grass court tennis is more exciting than clay court, the main problem is by finals day the centre court looks bare in parts and uneven bounce come into play.
having said that i would hate to see the grass court tradition die out at wimbledon.
a lot of clay court specialists make snide comments about grass but all the truly great champions have won on grass and clay.

seems like federer is out that murray bloke is through to the last four.
still no sign of tim, maybe he got involved watching the world cup on the telly and forgot about wimbledon?
maybe he will be back next year.

Howard Tim does not play anymore, and Mr Murray is the best male player the UK as had over the pass 20years still along way to go to win Wimbledon but lets hope he does just that.

No I am not wrong Tim does not play at Wimbledon anymore and has not play there now for about the last 3years. By the way Virginia is a lady not a male.
