That was my evening sorted, read it all already !!
122 pages long and profusely illiustrated it gives a good overview of how many sites there are in and around Dover - having been exploring and researching them for probably 20 years now (scary!!) and finding out more all the time, that is understandable.
It covers the Western Heights, Castle, Air Raid Shelters, quarries, Channel Tunnel and various oddities in the area
In all well written, but perhaps only slightly let down as presumably a lot of it was writtem from the experiences of others. There are a few anomolies, but there are things I have learnt recently that have changed the general know views of some of the history
Despite this i would thoroughly recommend it
