New camera
- 26 January 2014 19:23259004Help needed please I am looking at buying the Canon power Shot Sx170 AT ARGOS,IT IS IN THEIR BOOK AT £89.99 which is very good but it does not tell me if I can download on to my pc do I need a lead ?or does that come with the camera it has a Memory card no WI-FI AND IT IS A COMPACT DIGITAL camera I want o use it for e/bay.

26 January 2014 19:40259008Just had a quick look on the Argos site Vic.
Uses a memory card so can be transferred to computer via a card reader.
It doesn't mention a cable to transfer but as a compact camera would either have one or you would be able to buy one quite cheaply.
A good price too, should be O.K for what you need.

- 29 January 2014 16:58259238Thank you for that,I have found a lead indoors that fits both the camera and the pc,also I have a Vivitar DVR 508 HD 1.8INS I have taken the card out of that and put it in the Camera for the time being.So just waiting for the better weather,now help needed as you know I also have a telescope can I take photos of the moon using both the camera and the telescope so I get a close up photo of the moon. again thank you for any help you can give.

YOu may find that fitting your camera to a scope is not as simple as it should, not all models fit each other. Google ACE cameras, Green St, Bath, then e-mail them details of both camera and scope, they will be able to tell you if they will work together and, if any, adaptors/mounts are required etc.
