  It wasn't so much invented by me Howard (but thank you) as there had been markets there beforehand, some years ago.
  
  I started the talks with the new market manager and DDC - got the ball rolling so to speak.
  
  I hope it is a success for the shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes, but because of how its being done,I fear it may not be.
  
  The first week should be good because it will encourage people to come into the Town, it's whether it is good for the market stall-holders too, which will of course determine whether they will come back week after week - the stalls have to look good and sell pretty good produce at a reasonable price - not tat, for people to keep coming into Town.
  
  I don't believe the local press (Kathy and team and the others) are being involved enough.
  
  Have you seen anything in any local papers about DBS or what they are doing ? nor have I.
  Oh, I did see something once about a market, but it was only once.
