No there isn't.
Socialism does not equal laziness but does allow individuals to exploit a system in place to support others. These 'scroungers' are operating as 'individuals', placing their own 'self interest' first. Funny how both these terms form the ethos of Conservative thinking.
Breakthroughs in "looking after the vulnerable and less well off, those less able to care for themselves." have all been based within the ethos of socialism, from an effective sewerage system to the NHS.
