Brian its not the Woolies workers on this one, it seems its the Pound shop they are taking over(if true!) and yes indeed anybody is welcome to Dover particularly polished shops of repute.
But to go back to Woolworths. They are in dire trouble as a national chain, suffering extremely heavy loses and debt. It will be therefore unlikely that we will see a Woolworths continue in Dover. THis will almost certainly leave another unfillable empty hole bang in the centre of our shopping area. I hope it doesnt happen but its a distinct possibility.
As an aside, over the weekend it was revealed that there are now more than ONE Million empty homes now in the UK.
