Just so you know, there is a new main sponsor for Dover Athletic FC, replacing the sadly-shortlived SeaFrance.
Welcome to Perrys of Whitfield, the Vauxhall dealers. Crabble will henceforth be known as the Perrys Crabble Stadium (although will always remain as 'Crabble' in common parlance to us purists!).
Nice to see a local business stumping up and supporting one of the town's few success stories - DAFC being the true focus of Dovorian community spirit (a 1,000-plus people assembling at Lewisham Road's Theatre of Dreams every home game can't be wrong).
Well done to Jim P and the DAFC board again - and the mighty Hess and Darren, of course! - for getting a good sponsor to link up with the Mighty Whites. Shame more major local businesses (you know who you are) don't start backing what a good thing they have going up on Crabble Meadows.

i would imagine that the average fan will always refer to it as "crabble".
\ould be a good deal for the dealership though, most fans after an afternoon seeing their name at the ground will then travel past there on their way home.
