  Most certainly a secret society at times Howard. As Roger said above he was "somewhat put out!!" not to be called to this latest one. I think Frederick Scales has his own list of invitees, I think he was responsible for Deal pier Cafe launch, but did you see the coverage from that ?? it was lousy..lousy picture..looked like it was taken on a mobile phone.
  
  They really need to stop inviting free loaders and invite people who can give it wider publicity. If Frederick Scales is in charge then he is failing, failing to include the internet...well thats pretty dumb in this day and age which begs the question should he be in the job!
  
  From a personal point of view I want to go because I want to keep the readership of Doverforum informed, we have a much wider readership than we have members which is pretty clear if you look at the frontpage figures...thats it, I get nothing personally out of bothering my ass to do any of it. And it even gives their launch publicity too, so it should be a no brainer for them....but then again..did someone mention brains!!?
