One of our customers has just come back from a weekend in Nottingham. He reckons that the town centre deprivation and antisocial behaviour on a Saturday night is worse than Dover.

Bill Keer trying to cheer up Tony hancock who is lying in a hospital bed with a broken leg.
" There's always somebody worse off than you.."
"Good well bring him along I could do with a good laugh" replies Hancock dismissively,

Like most places there are some areas best avoided. I regularly go to Nottingham (and have been doing so for the last 15 years) and have never witnessed any trouble. I am going up there again in June to celebrate my birthday.
