17:5239791Oscars are just around the corner and this very short film deserves to win one! It's a fantastic dissection of our TV news media. Enjoy!

19:3639804Charlie Brooker's Newswipe is a brilliant piece of programming - he's practically always spot on with his assessment of the media's reporting of current topics and larger themes. Well worth catching - BBC4 Thursdays 10:30pm.

19:4939808Outstanding. Intelligent, articulate, parodies of common denominator news stories. I'm surprised Phil hasn't told me about this!

the best thing for me at present is the newsnight review on a friday night, some very insightful views there.
usually they get a decent balance of people to make it interesting.

03:1639864Many apologies, Newswipe is on TUESDAYS at 22.30 on BBC4, not Thursdays as I wrote above. I believe next weeks is 4/6 - anyone interested should be able to catch up on last week's on iPlayer at this link:

Make sure you watch it before Tuesday or you'll miss it. Next week: Politics.
