we all know that the tabloids tell their readership how to vote at election time.
how effective is this?
an analyst on the box earlier said that last time only 52% of sun readers voted at all, mirror readers not that better.
granted they mostly voted how they were told to, but still a small percentage though.
did they have trouble finding their way to the polling station?
maybe they got there and could not remember their name and address?

MUSTN'T say anything about sun readers
Sun readers will vote Tory as they used to, However, it would be really interesting to see what would happen if the Aussie bloke came out for the Libs.

how do you reach this conclusion sid?
people are paid large quantities of folding stuff to do nothing more than study and report back on such things.
where do you get this special information from?
Well, it is based on historical evidence Howard. When th Sun was rampantly Tory in it's support, the blues kept winning elections. As soon as Murdoch switched his allegiance, and headlines, to pro Tony B Liar, the reds kept winning.
It is therefore not such a great leap of imagination to see the same happening again. There is something about sheep, lemmings and Sun readers that I haven't quite worked out yet. It would help if Murdoch were Welsh!

if only 52 % vote at all and about 3/4 vote blue that means roughly 4 out of 10 do as you say.
the truth is that mail and express readers are much more reliable in that area.
incidentally the aussie has been american for donkeys years
Once a convict always a convict!
