I have great pleasure in extending an invitation for you to attend the next public meeting of the Dover Town Neighbourhood Forum on Thursday 23rd July 2009.
Refreshments will be available half an hour before the meeting starts; this provides a chance to meet local councillors from county, district and town. You will also have the opportunity to talk to a representative from the Dover District Community Safety Partnership. The agenda for the meeting will be available on the night.
The topic for this meeting is 'How Safe are Our Streets?' This is your chance to have your say and find out what is happening where you live. Come along and meet the people who are working to make our areas safer with representatives from Kent Police, the Community Safety Partnership, Crimestoppers, the Community Wardens and Neighbourhood Watch.email: dover7@msn.com - 20 July 2009 07:3825870Recent statistics seems to show that our streets are relatively safe but if you have any concerns about your immediate neighbourhood or need re-assuring on criminal issues then popping along to meet and chat with your councillors could be of use and also there are all the various bodies such as the Police on hand so its a good opportunity to ask about your concerns.email: dover7@msn.com
- 21 July 2009 05:5025938We could ask that in the Ward I represent PaulB; one guy killed recently, Howard being threatened with a broken. Thankfully these are very rare occasions and I would say generally, the streets are safe.

It appears the guy killed(sady)it is being rumoured was drugs related
sadly if thats true, then sometimes these things happen, if true just shows wot can happen in the world of drugs.
