Yet more new, well to me anyway, buses. I went to Ashford to have the car serviced and got the E-Line into town.
It was an Optare Versa,

a bigger version of the Solo's that are on the "Heart" routes. As you can see, the seats are a sort of plastic "leather", very comfortable but you could slip off of sharp bends! The front left hand bulkhead has a large cctv monitor which displays pictures from the on board cameras.
Like our 593 (Eastonways) and 68 (Regent) routes the E-line is subsidised by KCC, not quite sure why as it seems very busy.
Ah, the joys of a bus pass.
