According to a recent study spending too much time sitting down can shorten your lifespan. American researchers spent 14 years studying 120,000 men and women and found that the more time they spent sitting, the greater their risk of dying prematurely. They discovered that women who spend six or more hours sitting per day had a 37 percent chance of dying, as compared to women who spent less than three hours a day in a chair. It was 17 percent higher for men.
I wonder how many hours over the 14 years the researchers spent sitting collating this?
