I have been reading the thread re cyclists riding on the pavements JHG s posting prompted me to write the following .
Travelling on the bus today I was seated next to a gentleman probably mid seventies .Just before we turned into Pencester I noticed him throwing his ticket on the floor .I enquired "Why did you do that ?" The response "Im getting off the bus "I asked was it necessary to throw rubbish on the floor as someone has to pick it up abd it is no wonder the buses get filled with litter .He replied " It keeps someone in a job "Never one tp give up I then said "Why dont you place your used tickets in the back of your bus pass " Response " You do what you want and I will do what I want "Somewhere along the line I did state dont blame the council. Its people like you who make this town into a disgusting state .
Moral not all offenders are young .There are some very ignorant old people out there .
