Now much as I hated Nu-Age, I do have have rose tinted memories of the place. How this is possible when the place was such an over-priced dump I'm not sure. Perhaps it just represents a time and place in formative years!

I will say that I have seen some images new interiors today and purely from a design point of view, both myself and wife were really impressed. This is not to say that because someone has spent money the customers will change. However I do feel that if someone is prepared to fit out a club to this standard (which has never been done in the history of the place) then perhaps they are wanting to attract a new type of customer. The fact that all of the dance areas (that used to be filled with sweaty, amphetamine fueled ravers, dancing to monotonus drum and bass tunes) have been replaced with lounge/chill out areas. This leads me to think (I hope) that this will be some a little different, safe, with a strict code of conduct.

    Fingers crossed!
