  For many years now I have been trying to get a deserved honour for a certain councillor but nothing appears to happen ??

  I'm sure with all your public service Terry, starting with the hospital radio and all the years you ran that, as well as the many, many public services you offer and take part in, it must be your turn soon.

  Thanks for that Roger but I don't do that sort of thing! There was a campaign to get an award for a local person. I spoke to him/her yesterday and was told that said person had turned it down. I was a bit surprised and was fully expecting an award, hence my posting.

  I checked the web page and I could only find one local person who lives in Elvington who has received an award .I said earlier there is a person worthy but never seems to receive it .
