Not something you see every day.
In a way it is a good thing the red car was there to stop the silver/grey one from sliding down St Radigunds Road.

I saw that today as i was coming down St rads road. They were very lucky.it could have been worse.Bmw,s are rear wheel drive and quite powerful so on a wet road such as today you could easily lose control of the rear if you put your foot down to much.

#3 The theory is correct for older models but the ABS and traction control would stop it from sliding all over the road in the more recent models. I have had and driven BMW's for years.

Whilst you are right Anna, try putting yourself in the shoes of one of the lunatic drivers we have ample of on the streets of Dover, and you will find it very easy, also the dents on the passenger wing and door suggest at least a couple of impacts with the trees to the side of the grasses area prior to going over the bank.

From Facebook maybe this was the reason.
" Driver swerved to avoid a cat that ran across the road"
There were always lots of cats around Bunkers Hill Road when I lived up there so this reason is quite plausible.
