  well done Ireland on the Grand Slam and six nations excelent rugby and super match. Oirish eyes are smiling . Better say well done to england on beating the Scots in the calcutta cup.

  What a nail biting Grand Slam final too. Thoroughly enjoyed it, as with all 3 matches that were played today. Well done England too, fingers crossed for the next one!!!
  
  I now know a little more of the rules, so I will be able to enjoy my son, playing tomorrow for the Dover Sharks U14s, against Whitstable - come on lads, the future is England and the Calcutta Cup

  Ah bejayses what a victory...to win the grand slam for those who are not fully compes mentes with sport..means in effect that you have to beat everyone else. In this case all the best in western Europe. Ireland have the best team at the moment and pulled it off with their final victory yesterday over Wales. A tough game. Its the first time in 61 years that they won the grand slam...so its a bit special.

  Never thought of the Irish playing rugby. I only ever thought they played iománaíocht, you know, hockey with a vengence!

  just seen on the R.F.U. site that the england ladies rugby team won the Grand slam by beating scotland 72.to 3 so well done girls perhaps they should show the lad's how its done. I bet that was more fun to watch than the ladies cricket team playing with middle wickets and googlies.
