Marek - the old YHA was always planned to be turned into 9 dwellings, which included the old staff accommodation and canteen at the back of the grand building you can see in the article. The first purchaser did nothing with it and then sold it on to the current owner who is a local builder, sadly at some point thieves got onto the site and stole all the lead from the roof; having said that the builders are preserving as much of the original features as were left in the building including some truly sumptuous plaster mouldings and cornicing.
