    Open Air Boxing

    An open air boxing tournament was staged at the Sutton Vale Country Club on Saturday. Jason Skardon and Richard Libby from Deal both lost on points to A.Hayes from Dover, and R.McQuead from Margate, respectively, and Edward Etherington, from Sandwich, lost to G.Shirley, from Dover, when the referee stopped the contest in the first round.
