Who would have thought that in 2024 we would be able to watch women getting battered by blokes on live TV ??

The Italian Angela Carini is crying her eyes out in the ring.
She decides not to continue after being hit hard twice by the Algerian Imane Khelif.
Fight lasted 46 seconds.
First punched knocked her chin strap off and she was holding her nose.

Having just watched the fight clip if that boxer is now a completely genuine transgender woman I will be very surprised.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

He's not Jan he is just a bloke in a dress who identifies as female.

Well, you can't 'test for gender', given that gender is pretty much anything you want it to be. [I mean, how would it go? 'But are you really a cat?' 'MEEEeow.' 'OK, that's a pass'.]
But you can test for sex.
Which is why 'sex' is no longer an option on official documents.

They might not be able to test for gender but they can check hormone levels over a suitable agreed time (several years) and how the body image has changed etc.

Maybe. But why would a progressive organisation do this?
