Which is why I was interested in questioning Robert Jenrick on the subject at a meeting in Sandwich last month.
Hopefully I am able via this forum to show that 'immigration', which has come to the fore in European and USA elections as well as our own, is 'complicated'.
I do know a little of the subject having worked for the Immigration Service from the seventies to the nineties in 9 different ports incuding for Enforcement and interviewing Asylum Applicants.
Some people think stupidly that the immigration probem is about race, or colour or even religion.
It is not.
It is about numbers and skills and social cohesion which includes the amount of social capital a community has.
If people don't like my postings please do not read them.
