"It is about numbers and skills and social cohesion which includes the amount of social capital a community has." So true.
Because we are a small island we have no choice but to control the number of people we can look after. To many and our present day standards drop, not enough housing, schools, medical care, jobs etc, some argue this has already happening.
I admit I do not read all of the Captain's posts on this subject if they contain to many statistics simply because they mean little to me.
