    Barry, dress it up how you like but your new european chums are a fairly mixed bag from the democratic right through to the far right, some of those in the latter are a pretty nasty racist, homophobic, anti-semitic, misogynistic bunch.

    Howard, the euro is frankly unlikely to disappear, if for no other reason than the Germans & French have invested far too much political as well as economic capital in it.
