we probably all recall the problems with nu-age and its subsequent closure.
we were then promised that club karma would be a different kettle of fish, attracting "nice" people that held their cocktail glass with their smallest digit pointing upwards.
strictly no chavs.
residents of adrian street tell me differently with all the usual urinating, defecating and sometimes fornicating happening outside their houses in the early hours.
went past yesterday and had a quick look from the outside and reached the conclusion that upmarket did not apply here.

on the upside the unitarian church next door seemed to care about its appearance.

The state of the building seems to resemble the people that go there.

sadly many years ago under nu age the council/police had an opportunity to sort the night club out.
instead they chose not to work together and the nu age solicitor tore the agency objectors apart.

nothing has changed they seem to get permission for whatever hours they fancy.
a bloke i used to work with lives a few doors away and he and his wife are woken up at all hours.
one night he went out because a lady was giving her gentleman friend the kiss of life in his front garden.
when i say the "kiss of life" i meant it in the way that it brought the bloke to life.

Very nasty little venue, but was good for the grabbing of the granny some years back

Ihave frequented Club Karma Roger, along with friends of mine and I deeply resent your comment about those who sometimes patronise the club.
Please don't tar everybody with the same brush.

I do agree with Dave on this one, I don't frequent Karma, but my few visits have been much better than any visit to Poo-Age!
It is not the club's fault that idiots in the community choose to be disrespectful! The vast majority of people are just having a good night.
You get the same 'urinating, defecating and sometimes fornicating happening outside their houses in the early hours' from the towns pub's clientel.

are we to assume that the bloke in my mates front garden was you?
if not it was someone that looked very similar.

it is a difficult one the owners of the club job finishes once there clients leave the club
they cant be held responsible after that, or at one point do you stop

Oh dear! good pictures again Howard. ..it does look tatty and on the main road too. just in the spot to catch the eye of all our visitors...especially those walking in or bussing in from the Cruise Terminal. Never been in it myself but glad its nice on the inside for its customers but something should be done about the outside.

I send my apologies to you Kyle and Dave and any other self-respecting person who goes there just to have a good evening; from what Howard says though, a good evening has different meanings to different people.

#10/12, Keith, you will find the Licensing Act 2003 does not agree with you. It is very much the club's responsibility to do everything possible to ensure that their customers do not cause a nuisance.

Might be a good idea Kyle for some of those who rubbish the place to go there one night and see what its like. In that way you can trash it from experience.
Its the same old generalisation of everybody going there is a chav or a vandal.
I hardly dare mention i've been to the Funky Monkey too.

It's up to the club to exclude the antisocial ones or risk all their customers being tarred with the same brush.
