I saw the irrespressible Ozzie on the Hammersmith Odeon all them years ago. Wasnt long out of Black Sabbath and on tour. I remember it as being very good, but alas he had taken to wearing gold as was the short term Gary Glitter fashion. Horror of horrors...I wanted him in black and nothing but black. I think his wife was advising him..oh dear!
Hadnt heard anything about him being in Folkestone. Dont know what he would be like nowadays as a performer, as sigh the years have caught up with us all.

I think a show at Birmingham Town Hall last Saturday also took place. This Saturday coming he's playing The Roundhouse as part of the iTunes Festival series of concerts. I think OzzFest is at the O2 in September.
Tonight's show was sold out, presumably on word of mouth. There were an extra 50 tickets released the other day, as far as I know there are still some available. Supposed to be special guest appearances at tonight's show - perhaps Black Sabbath!
I'm looking forward to it. Not often you have the opportunity to experience a performer of his stature at such a small venue.
