  it all reminds me of that joke from the 1980's when the irish bloke with a shampoo allergy was trying to help out the poor africans.
  
  he managed to get the then prime minister margaret thatcher(does anyone remember her) to visit a poor african village.
  
  the first stop was a leper colony, she states that they are just malingerers, then onto a school with one teacher and 350 pupils who all manage to walk barefoot through the jungle for hours to attend classses, she says that it is good for the character.
  
  finally exasperated, bob takes her out to a swamp where a local is being swallowed by a crocodile.
  
  mrs thatcher then exclaims "i thought you said these people were poor, that one there has a lacoste sleeping bag".
