Very funny Howard - but there is an "L" in his public hair. Made me chuckle tho'.
Vic - had you been drinking last night - Tories making no advancement locally indeed.
The local District Council is run by the Conservatives, there's 28 blue oouncillors there and 15 Labour.
Dover is on the edge of some fantastic redvelopment and regeneration - because Dover is punching well above its weight and its Paul Watkins and his Cabinet who are doing the punching.
Dover is leading East Kent on many things and are entering partnerships with other local authorities to improve services and make them affordable - and help keep Council tax as low as possible without a negative impact on services, and balancing the budget.
I do think that the message is not getting across properly and this applies Nationally too.
If people want Dover to realise its potential, they'd be so much better off (in every way), to stick with the Conservatives and build on that momentum by voting in a Conservative MP at the next opportunity too.
Have a Good Christmas.
Roger
