    there is a bit of a changing of the guard here.

    it is not all doom and gloom, last week we had the the new discount footwear outlet open in pencester gardens,
    followed closely by the new fish and chip emporium a few doors away.

    maybe the smaller independent businesses see a better future than the national companies.

    we have had a couple of polish shops open on the london road too.
