  just to reply on your negative comments;
  
  D.I.T.Z. I still feel they had(all parties) put all there eggs in with Asda and that was a disaster, but hey thats still moving on not quick enough but moving

  Many people from different agencies have tried to get the town centre a better place, but your up against it for many reasons which some include the District councils policy of moving business out to Whitfield and openly supporting it, this will have an effect on the smaller shops in the town.
  
  But this is not purely a council issue, its National govt to(rates) etc

  Yes hollis motors to underpass shabby, again not fully A council issue what about some of the business's taking a bit of pride on there frontages?

  There is a lot to offer visitors if marketed correctly, again thats not just councils its a number of agencies.
  
  
  So it's all to easy to blame
