may i just say from a personal point of veiw, the closure of our play area in clarendon has had a massive social effect on all the kids in my area. i do not allow my kids to play in the street, 6 and 7 yer olds, i think need costant supervision which i can not do while looking after a 20 month old and a 6 month old. the alley's are out of the question, we have so many immagrant families who's kids are allowed to hang out in the alleys in large groups of 15+ my little ones feel very intimadated. plus the state of the alleys is a heath hazzard.
clarendon is a deprived area, but that doesnt mean my kids should be deprived of a play area.
"talks are in place" "we are looking at another area" is not good enough, we need action not a talking shop. i just want to know when and where am i going to get a play area that i can take the kids too? will my babies be to old to enjoy it when it eventually arrives?
