  You are right but DC handled it well. He got down on his knees to speak directly to the boy so as not to ignore him and explained to the father calmly that under his policies he would have more choice, not less.
  
  There is a bit of a twist to this tale though. It seems the father is a political activist associated with the Labour Party, so it was a set-up.
  
  At least DC is engaging with real people, even if opposition stooges do get through it is still a good thing.
